The holidays bring gatherings with family and friends, sharing in good company, and bringing love, joy, and cheer to those around you. It’s important to be kind to one another. Bringing back the light during the darkest time of the year, and sharing cheerful joy and gratitude with all you meet are a big part of what this time of year represents. Offering love and kindness towards others, especially those who may not be as fortunate as you are, can make a ripple effect with the greatest power towards change for the better. Give to your local public schools this year, the PTO or PTA is a non-profit that would benefit greatly from your charitable contribution. Donate to the public library systems in your area. Bring donations of clothing and toiletries to a women’s shelter near you. Gather up extra blankets and warm clothing to give to the homeless. We need to do more to help those in need any time of the year, but now is a great time to start. Spread kindness, and give selflessly. Create sacred space within your heart to fill with universal unconditional love for all beings of Mother Earth.
