Light & Heart = Peace
Happy almost Holidays! Soon we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving and the December holidays of Light returning. A dark time of year that calls you to fill yourself with Light, and a wonderful time to be with family and friends. It’s also a time when it is easy to get frazzled with so many activities of the season. How can we step out of the rush and be at peace?
I associate the Holidays with scents. Humm…scents, Light and peace. So not surprising our specials this month are Angels of Light and Enlighten Aromatherapy and Flower Essence Misters. Nootka Rose Flower Essence
Nootka Rose is a native to the North American Pacific Northwest. It grows 3-9 feet tall and has 5-petaled fragrant pink flowers in early summer. Its large round red-orange hips are high in vitamin C and can be used in teas. Some indigenous people ate the tender shoots in spring and placed rose leaves in cooking pots to keep the food from burning and for flavor. Nootka rose grows in moist soils in sunny locations and provides both food and shelter for birds and beneficial insects.
